Range Valuation Services, LLC (“Range”) is an independent appraisal and valuation firm with a focus on oilfield assets but with the knowledge and ability to assist companies in a broad range of industries.
Through the appraisal, advisory, disposition and financial services offered by Range, we help small, private companies and publicly traded corporations accurately evaluate assets to facilitate successful transactions.
Range pulls from a thorough understanding of the oil and gas services industry – a deep knowledge base, experience and a tight-knit, responsive network to formulate the most up-to-date valuations. We consider our clients as partners and provide service to them as such.
Highlights of the first several years of Range’s operation include:
- Private equity carve out of the fishing and tubulars division from one of the largest global oilfield services firms. This 2019 transaction totaled $400 million, with Range providing Orderly Liquidation Value for the assets in support of a $200 million term loan.
- Financial reporting valuation in 2020 of a pressure pumping acquisition from a major international Oilfield Services operator. Over $400 million in consideration.
- Range liquidates approximately $200 million in M&E assets for a domestic cementing and pressure pumping firm in connection with its Chapter 11 process. The term loan lender recovers its principal as a result.
- In 2023, Range provides valuation in support of a $520 million issuance of senior secured notes for a major U.S. oilfield services firm.
